Polaris Continues Sales Increase In Third Quarter

The news from the motorcycle industry has been hit or miss this year. Some types, i.e. scooters, have seen amazing growth, while dirtbikes have lagged. Hit or miss, Polaris seems to be on the leading edge of sales this year. The third quarter is another story of success for the company.

The company reported a 23% increase in sales revenue for the quarter  when compared to the same time period last year. Those Q3 numbers continue the company’s upward trend this year, as year-to-date sales are up 37% overall. That translates in to a whopping $111.4 million more in sales revenue this year. The Victory brand is leading the charge with a year-to-date increase of 83%.

The numbers have encouraged Polaris in its revamping of the Indian brand. Their move into the electric motorcycle ring should help as well. Polaris is poised to be one of the best performing companies in the U.S. this year, and should provide more business for the motorcycle insurance companies that protect their bikes and ATVs.
