MotoGP Silverstone Round Up

Besides helping people get cheap motorcycle insurance, the team here @ love to watch racing, particularly MotoGP.  Well, MotoGP racers and fans alike were treated to dry weather and fine conditions at this year’s event in Silverstone. Considering how wet and miserable Silverstone has been the last few years, this was a great turn of events.

Oh, and the races themselves were rather fine being full of excitement and intrigue.

The Moto2 race got the fun started with its first number of laps featuring a duel between Bradley Smith and Scott Redding, two young and aggressive Brits. Though Redding won this particular battle, it was HP Pons’ Pol Espargaro who won the war this weekend leaving Redding to settle for second. Coming in third with a dramatic surge towards the end of the race was Marc Marquez, who was only allowed to enter the race once it was determined that the Rookie Rule would be deleted next season.
