Triumph Motorcycles America LTD has issued a recall for its Triumph Daytona 675 model years 2006 to 2009 and its Triumph Street Triple from the same model years.
The recall has been issued due to possible problems with the bikes’ electrical systems that can have the bikes’ regulator/rectifier overheating, which will in turn keep the vehicles from charging. After the affected batteries empty, the bikes could stall. More than 10,000 motorcycles might be affected by the recall.
Though Triumph is contacting owners, folks can also reach out the Triumph’s customer service department at 1-678-854-2010. Authorized Triumph dealers will inspect and, if need be, replace the regulator/rectifier free of charge.
