A recall has been issued for a whole host of Victory motorcycles from model years 2012 and 2013. Polaris is recalling Victory Boardwalk’s, Cross Country’s, Cross Roads, Hammer’s, Hard-Ball’s, High-Ball’s, Jackpot’s, Judge’s, Kingpin’s, Vegas’s, and Vision’s that were manufactured between January 3. 2012 and August 5, 2012.
The recall has been issued because some throttle retention nuts may not have received a necessary torque procedure, which could lead to the nuts loosing while the motorcycles are in operation. These loose nuts, as loose nuts are wont to do, can get in the way of the normal throttle function which could lead to a crash.
