You had better sit down; I have got some shocking, yet happy, news to share. KTM USA has announced that its KTM 690 Duke is going to be sold in both America and Canada in 2013.
The bike that was seemingly offered just about everywhere on the planet, but in North America, will be close to nine-tenths brand new from the most-recent 690 that is tearing up the roads in the rest of the world. Possessing a dry weight of only 330 pounds and a 690cc LC4 single-cylinder engine that twists out a rattling 67 horses along with 51 pound-feet of torque, the KTM 690 Duke is a fun, fast motorcycle.
The Austrian motorcycle-maker says that the 690 will feature a Bosch 9M + ABS package and a Brembo radially-mounted caliper with one 320mm brake disc.
